Q. Why leave luxury to build GLOW?
I didn't leave it. I stopped keeping it to myself. Luxury spent fifty years solving a problem every business now has. Sitting on that felt like a waste, not a specialty.
Q. What does strategic desirability actually mean, day to day?
It means we don't start with a campaign. We start with what's thin -substance, meaning, distinction, experience -and fix that. Desire shows up because it has nowhere else to go.
Q. Biggest misconception about applying luxury outside luxury?
That it means making things fancier. It doesn't. It means being deliberate about scarcity, meaning, and experience, a supermarket brand can do all three without a single gold accent.
Q. What would you tell a CEO who thinks GLOW is a training company?
That the workshop was never the business. It was the entry fee. Ask us to stay past.
